Story Ideas for High School Journalists

The Student Press Law Center, in partnership with Education Week, will be regularly releasing handouts that show high school student journalists how to localize national education stories. The handouts will include tips on making public record requests, advice from professional education reporters and other suggestions on how to thoroughly report a big story.

Have a story idea for a future handout or know of a national education issue that would be great for high school journalists to localize? Contact us. And if your high school newspaper published an article that used one of these handouts for inspiration, please share it with us.
