An administrative board at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte found the former president of the University of North Carolina System's Association of Student Governments "responsible" in September for threatening the editor of the school's student newspaper with sexual torture and death in an e-mail message.















College student punished for Facebook post sues St. Augustine's

On May 2, a day after his peers walked across a stage and were recognized for completing their degree programs, Roman Caple drove to St. Augustine College’s administration building. He was stopped at the security booth where a campus police officer handed him his graduation regalia and his degree through his car window. He signed that he received them and was told to turn around and leave campus.
