Neal et al. v. Efurd A federal district court judge in Arkansas ruled that a public high school principal violated the First Amendent rights of two of his students when he suspended them for comments they made on their private, off-campus Web sites. The judge found that any disruption to the school that might have occured was the result of the school's investigation and subsequent punishment of the students and not the Web sites themselves.
