The Report Staff

Laurie Babinski, a Scripps Howard Foundation journalism intern, is a senior journalism and Spanish major at Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif. Babinski is the editor of the student newspaper, The Graphic. She covered high school censorship, advisers, access and campus crime for the Report.

\n Shauna Gustafson, a Scripps Howard Foundation journalism intern, is a senior journalism major at Eastern Illinois University. Gustafson, a native of Rockford, Ill., is the editor of the campus paper, The Daily Eastern News, and was also editor of her high school newspaper, The Times. She covered college censorship and confidentiality issues for the Report.

\n Laura Petelle is in her third year at Duke University School of Law. Petelle, a native of Chicago, earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame, where she served as assistant managing editor of The Observer. She is concurrently enrolled at Duke’s Divinity School working on a master’s degree. She wrote the legal analysis on advisers’ rights.

\n Laura Schmoyer, a Scripps Howard Foundation journalism intern, is a fourth-year English major at the University of Virginia. She has served as managing editor for Corks and Curls, the campus yearbook, for the past two years. She is also a staff writer for the campus paper, The Cavalier Daily. She covered Internet issues for the Report and assisted with coverage of high school censorship
