Nev. college must keep president search open





NEVADA -- The University and Community Colleges System of Nevada in November asked the state supreme court to overturn a lower court's ruling forcing the system to conduct a public search for a new president for the Community College of Southern Nevada   Michael Douglas, a judge for the Nevada Court of Appeals for the Eighth District, ruled against the system after the Las Vegas Review-Journal filed a lawsuit arguing that the school's search for a new president must be open because the presidency is a public office.
